Wytheville Training School Cultural Center has been
sponsoring health screenings in partnership with the Mt. Rogers
Health District during the past year. Almost 800 people
received a flu shot there in October. Plans are underway to
administer the H1N1 shot in November.
WBCF Scholarship Program
Beginning in the fall of 2007, the WBCF will provide
scholarships for two years of
tuition at Wytheville Community
College to all qualified graduates of Wythe and
Bland County,
Virginia, high schools. Qualifications and enrollment

GRANTS
The Wythe-Bland Community Foundation is pleased to
announce the awarding of its Fall 2009 grants for a total of
$1,013,252 to qualified 501 (c) (3) organizations (or governmental
entities) serving Wythe County and Bland County Virginia, that
support, promote and/or further the Foundation's mission. The
Foundation provides opportunities to improve the health, education,
and welfare of the citizens of the Wythe and Bland Communities, with
